sorry India, got my incantations wrong today, just learning after all.................. :-)
Tried all the plants used before in a row, not today it said, we will try again though, mind you I threw a few tea bags in, might have covered/altered the colour (sure did, silly me)
I will always try something else, serves me right, but what fun to be had, to wake up to unbundling...........

hi Lynda,
yea, them's the break....
but regarding the seaweed, not all is lost, I seem to remember India had success, a while back so, maybe a year ago, not sure, but she left it in a travelbag for a while, and had magic prints..... you might have to troll through her blog, would be worth it, I tried to find seaweed, but living inland...
Yes it is lots of fun and frustration, never predictable.
So I am teaching myself to go with the flow and any specials are a bonus, mind you most are special in their own way, might just have not been what I was after... on second look there is always something there..........
Try red onion skins, roses, leaves and flower, carrot tops (got lots in the freezer, but haven't worked out what they do yet as I keep forgetting them)
Thank you for your comments too, wait until you find out what I am realy doing.........
I have a workshop, first week in January, am preparing for that, and then have a way in mind to apply what I am learning to the eco dying I am getting ready to use it on, when I get back....
happy experimenting too, madeleine
Since it's too boggy to get out bush and collect gum leaves, I'll be heading out to the green grocer to buy a red cabbage to try instead. What great colours!
Cheers Joan
